One of my FAVVORITEE winter weddings I've ever photographed. Getting EIGHT inches of snow the day before your wedding makes the most WHIMSICAL photos ever. #Praise

I met Thomas several years ago because when my husband, Brett and I were dating long distance, I used to come up to Michigan to visit Brett and Thomas was one of his five roommates! I always loved hearing about Thomas's wild stories backpacking out West. Caitlin told me that if Thomas could get married barefoot, he totally would have!

Caitlin was born and raised in California. She comes from a family of seven brothers and sisters total so it definitely is HOME to her. Caitlin is a giver. She is constantly loving on others so well.

Since our ceremony started at 10am, I arrived at 6:30am to start shooting detail shots! The sun wasn't even up yet but you work with what you have!! Caitlin and Thomas decided to memorize their vows so Caitlin's sisters helped her memorize them while getting ready.

You would never think its 6:30am with how beautiful these ladies look, AMIRIGHT?! P.S. I'm stealing Caitlin's Anthro robe.. ;)

You know your momma is the BEST when she sews the coolest forrest green robe for your wedding day. Can someone PLEASE hand her a Best Mom trophy?!

Caitlin and Thomas are spending their honeymoon in Palm Springs this week! Talk about HIP. I'm pretty jealous!

They also decided to take a break from all social media this week (best decision EVER) so I cannot wait to share this post with them when they get back!

Thanks to all the awesome vendors and their family for making this happen!

xoxo Katherine Joy
