When I first started shooting in the studio, I was totally not a fan. The idea of having a backdrop be so simple felt pretty boring. You can only have so many backdrop colors and poses with your subject! However after learning how to manipulate the light well in the studio, I started to fall in love with having total control of all light sources. It forced me to be creative on a whole other level with light and your subjects. Does anyone relate??
Roberto is one of the first friends I made when I moved to JC 8 years ago. This dear friend of mine just got back from working the past Olympics in Brazil! He actually got to swim in the Olympic pool for ten minutes. He is now currently spending his time in Spain teaching english to kids!
Being in the season to where all your friends are around the country/world can be so difficult. However I cannot wait to visit him when I'm going to London next summer!
